  How did you fare in High School as a JW?

  for me it was rather painful.

  it was like pressing your nose against the candy store window, knowing that you can look, but you cannot partake.

  "Amish - Out of Order"...Have you watched this show???

  it comes on the national geographic channel and it's about young people who choose to leave the amish faith/way of life, the backlash from their families, and their adjustment to the "outside" world.

  it's fascinating for me to watch.

  some of the experiences are unique to amish, but so much of it is similar to what people feel when they decide they no longer want to be witnesses.

  rain, winds, record heat hit northeast on same dayby david sharp, associated press writer david sharp, associated press writerthu dec 3, 5:47 pm et end .byline portland, maine a storm packing blustery winds and driving rain knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses in the northeast on thursday before giving way to sunny skies and record high temperatures all in the same morning.utility officials reported sporadic power outages from maine to new jersey after wind knocked down trees and power lines early thursday.

  winds reached up to 49 mph in brunswick, maine, while the isle of shoals off the coast of new hampshire recorded a 61 mph gust.

  in new jersey, wind speeds topped out at 45 mph.. but the rain and wind that battered the region early thursday gave way to sunny skies and unseasonably high temperatures by mid-morning.. in boston, the temperature hit 69 degrees, breaking the old record of 65 set in 1932. in portland, the temperature climbed to 68 degrees crushing the old high of 55 for the date.

  well, let me tell you about my experience in dating a married woman about a year ago or so, i was dating a married woman, she did not tell me that she was married, but i found about it and i told her that i know that she is married, then she decided not to see me.

  she is really hot.

  well recently, i learned that my recent date is actually married, but she is also really hot, should i keep my mouth shut not telling her that i know that she is married, so i can keep the relationship with her, i would not mind because i really like her..

  There's A Ghost At My Place Of Employment

  ok some of you will laugh at this, but it's true, there is a spirit that haunts the premises where i work.. it has spoken to me once when i was locking up, it was 1 single word "hello", i looked around and saw nothing, i ignored it, set the alarm locked the door & went home.

  other times i have felt something brush passed me as i have entered the building early in the morning.

  the experience that got to me most happened the other nite when i was called back to the store by security, as i pulled into the drive way there was a man standing at the rear of the building, in the split second of looking away he dissapeared, there's no way that he could have run off the property in that split second.. what do you think?.

  this is just an obsevation from me...ok i dont mean to annoy anyone but is it true or just me?.

  i feel that ones raised in the truth are so much better of than us who came in from the world.

  i say that because they have family who are witnesses too.

  i was disfellowshipped in 1995. even though i lost my friends and family, i felt like i had been finally set free and was happy for many years.

  while i was a jehovah's witness, i always felt so miserable.

  i never felt like i was doing enough to please jehovah.

  another gem from the same edition - article to be studied december 28 - january 3 (which most will miss lol coz of summer vacation) entitled "what do your prayers say about you?

  " page 6 para 19 reads:.

  19 when we are being represented in public prayer, we need to display reverential "fear of god.
